On May 22nd, Nanjing 2021 Graduation Concert was held in Nanjing Olympic Stadium. The concert was jointly held by CPC Nanjing Innovation Committee Office, Nanjing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and Nanjing Communist Youth League Committee. More than 2000 graduates from 51 universities in Jiangsu participated the concert. JSOU School of Environment and Ecology was invited to take charge of the volunteer service for the concert. Therefore, a volunteer team of more than 100 students was set up to provide all the voluntary service for the graduation concert.
In order to ensure the implementation of voluntary service, Duan Ying, secretary of the General Party Branch of school, Ye Haiyue, deputy secretary of the school and other related teachers participated in the on-site organization and coordination.
At the concert, the volunteers were arranged in eight different areas. JSOU student volunteers all sticked to their posts and cooperated with each other to provide the most effective support for both cast and audience.
During the volunteer service, Lv Jing, secretary of Nanjing Communist Youth League Committee, paid a special visit to the JSOU volunteer team. He had a warm talk with teachers and students and praised the devotion of the volunteers. Lv Jing said that the volunteers were enthusiastic, efficient and courageous in taking on responsibilities, which played an important role in holding the concert. He also invited JSOU volunteers to participate in more large events in Nanjing in the future.
With the cooperation of JSOU volunteer team, Nanjing Shuguang Rescue Team and Nanjing Civil Air Defense Rescue Team, the Graduation Concert for 2021 university graduates came to a successful end. All the staff and audience were deeply impressed by the devotion of young volunteers from JSOU.
