A list of ideological and political demonstration projects was announced by the Ministry of Education the other day. "Marketing and Planning" from School of Business and "TCM Beauty Technology" from School of Art were included as demonstration courses for further education and vocational education respectively.
Guided by Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, JSOU has long been implementing the guiding principles of the 19th CPC National Congress and those of plenary sessions of the 19th CPC Central Committee, fostering virtue through education and giving play to teachers’ dominant role. Meanwhile, standardization and normalization of ideological and political theories teaching in all courses has been promoted comprehensively with ideological work system integrated into the whole process of talent training.
The successful inclusion of JSOU two courses marks the achievements in ideological and political construction. Taking this success as an opportunity, we will work in strict accordance with the relevant requirements of higher authorities, make arrangements guided by overall goals, plan construction measures, focus on key tasks and ensure organization guarantee. These demonstration courses are supposed to get vigorous support for the follow-up construction and practical application before their demonstration effect and leading roles come into full play. Meanwhile, JSOU would accelerate the construction of a research center on ideological and political theories teaching in all courses. In building a comprehensive educational pattern for everyone in the whole process, we aim to provide a solid guarantee.
