On May 25th, a meeting of alumni affairs in JSOU educational system was held. Wang Jianming, Secretary of the Party Committee, personnel in charge of the alumni affairs from branch open universities and alumni fraternity branches, all members of the alumni fraternity office attended the meeting which was presided over by Liu Tao, director of the alumni fraternity office.
Wang Jianming fully affirmed the achievements made by branch open universities and alumni branches. He pointed out that great efforts should be exerted to extend more outstanding resources with support from excellent alumni, making full use of alumni enterprise to build a platform for industry-university-research cooperation. In addition, the stronger characteristic alumni culture, the better promotion of mutual support between JSOU and alumni. JSOU should pay more attention to the integration of vocational education, social education and open education, making Alumni-return Day as a festival on campus.
At the meeting, Liu Tao, on behalf of the alumni association, introduced the alumni homecoming day activity plan and deployed relevant work. Alumni affairs leaders of the municipal open universities and the alumni fraternity branches respectively reported on their work plan in June.
