On May 29th, JSOU signed a cooperation framework agreement with JD (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd in Suqian JD Technology Park. Jin Lixia, deputy secretary of JSOU Party Committee and vice president, Wang Shilong, secretary of JD Party Committee and retail director, Li Jun, secretary of Suqian Open University Party Committee and president attended the signing ceremony.
Wang Shilong first gave a brief introduction of JD Group. As the largest self-operated e-commerce platform in China, JD is committed to creating the ultimate shopping experience for users. JD (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd, as the customer service center of JD, has more than 12,000 employees and aims to build a world-class comprehensive intelligent service center. In order to continuously improve the cultural and professional quality of employees, JD had cooperated with many universities in constructing cooperative courses relying on Suqian JD Vocational Training School since November 2013, the time when Suqian JD Vocational Training School was established. The cooperation with JSOU challenged the traditional mode of examination and admission during previous school-enterprise cooperation. Oriented by the needs of enterprises and employees, the cooperation with JSOU met the needs for improving educational qualification and vocational skills to a large extent, which also reduced the turnover of employees.
Jin Lixia said in her speech that the cooperation with JD (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd was a positive attempt for JSOU to deepen the reform of talent training mode and explore a new mode of school-enterprise cooperation. Serving local economic development was one of the missions for JSOU. Signing a cooperation agreement with JD (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd, one of the large-scale enterprises in Suqian, would deepen JSOU’s cooperation with local enterprises. It was necessary to give full play to the advantages of Jiangsu Lifelong Education Credit Bank, completing the certification and transformation of vocational skills so as to better serve students, enterprises and local economic development and accumulate experience for JSOU to carry out the initiative of campus, enterprise park and community interaction.
As representatives of the cooperation parties, Wang Shilong, Jin Lixia, Liu Zhonglin and Ji He signed the cooperation agreement respectively.
Leaders from JD (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd, colleagues from Publicity Department of JSOU Party Committee, teachers and staff from JSOU School of Public Administration, Student Affairs Office and Suqian Open University participated in the signing ceremony.
