On June 16th, JSOU held online lectures on Stage Art and Beauty Technology in Dinghuaimen campus. The lectures were held by School of Art, which mainly adopted the combination of online and offline methods to run stage art and beauty technology training for JSOU students majoring in Character Design, Cosmetics Management in the School of Art, as well as some undergraduate and graduate students studying in the Beauty Department of Honam University. JSOU vice president You Jiachun attended the event.
The event was divided into two parts. The first part was the appointment ceremony for professional leaders of School of Art. You Jiachun presented the letter of appointment to Wei Xiaomeng, the chief designer of Beijing Olympic Games and Nanjing Youth Olympic Games.
The second part was online training presided over by Wang Zheng, deputy dean of School of Art. The keynote speakers were Wei Xiaomeng and JSOU associate professor Gao Tongtong. Wei Xiaomeng delivered a lecture on Stage Makeup and Character Modeling as she shared her personal experience and theoretical knowledge on stage makeup and character modeling design through case study. Gao Tongtong delivered a lecture on Technology and Application of Alpha Hydroxy Acid Activating Skin from the two perspectives, product and utility.
After the lectures, Wei Xiaomeng and Gao Tongtong had a Q&A interaction with online and offline audience which consisted of more than 200 students and teachers from JSOU and 40 undergraduates, postgraduates and full-time teachers from Honam University.
The event was the first time for JSOU to hold a large-scale skill training for overseas universities, which served as an important measure to implement the strategic cooperation agreement with overseas universities.
Teachers and students from JSOU School of Art, staffs from Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, and teachers and students from Honam University also attended the event.
