The 2021 Jiangsu Vocational College Teaching Competition was held in Nanjing on July 12. After the school selection and provincial preliminary competition, 6 teams from JSCVC were shortlisted for the live final, and won 1 first prize, 2 second prizes and 3 third prizes. Yang Ning, Wang Qian, Wei Xuzheng, a team from Wuxi branch ranked first among the groups.
As a regular competition for examining the teaching ability of vocational college teachers, the contest is enhancing its threshold, and the quality of entries are improving year by year, which makes it fiercer. JSCVC leaders attach great importance to it and the Discipline Construction Division made analysis and evaluation in advance. Their precise planning, organization and high standards adopted in school selection has laid a solid foundation for provincial competition preparation. On June 3, the Jiangsu Provincial Education Department issued the Notice on the Holding of the 2021 Jiangsu Vocational College Teaching Competition, which clearly defined the contest program. Despite severe constraints of limited time and arduous task, we have successfully completed the declaration of 12 works.
By participating in the teaching contest, JSCVC teachers put their teaching ability to a comprehensive test which also serves as a promotion and guidance to teaching reform and innovation. This competition result has not only shown the achievements we made in teacher staff cultivation, but also offered a clear guidance to the direction of professional development and education reform in the future. JSCVC will take this opportunity to continue our improvement in teaching development platform. Focusing on fostering virtue through education, a fundamental task, we will constantly improve teachers' ability and comprehensive literacy until the formation of a good ecology of teachers’ professional growth.
