JSOU Held Farewell Meeting for New Recruits of Fall 2021

On September 9th, a farewell meeting for JSOU recruited soldiers of fall 2021 was held on Dinghuaimen Campus. Jin Lixia, deputy Secretary of JSOU Party Committee, attended the meeting. 25 students and relevant staff from Security Department also presented. Zuo Kejun, dean of JSOU Security Department, presided over the meeting. 

Jin Lixia expressed her congratulations on behalf of JSOU to the 25 prospective soldiers who actively joined the army. She stressed that JSOU had the glorious tradition of supporting PLA and serving the country. Students should respond to the call of the Party and country, join the PLA and jointly realize the dream of building a strong army. Finally, Jin proposed specific hopes to the students. She hoped that students could stay true to their original aspiration and keep their mission firmly in mind. During the training, they should be hard-working and obedient and never forget to learn. JSOU, as the alma mater, would always be open to learners. 

At the farewell meeting, Zuo Kejun introduced JSOU recruitment progress in autumn 2021 and read out the list of the prospective soldiers. Students were presented ribbons for their glory. They were also encouraged to keep learning and improve their comprehensive abilities in the barracks.

Liu Wenjing, on behalf of the teachers, sent a message named Throw Away the Pen and Take Up the Sword to the students. Wu Yukai, on behalf of all the prospective soldiers, made a speech to express his determination to serve the country. 

After the meeting, students were scheduled to depart for the training base.
