The 21st International Photography Exhibition of Pingyao themed Wonderful World, Beautiful China was exhibited in Pingyao Ancient City, Shanxi Province. A total of 50 works by teachers and students of the academic education class for the elderly and photography class were presented in this exhibition.
Nearly 10,000 domestic and foreign works displayed for the exhibition offline or online feature innovative forms, contemporary characteristics and international level. Despite the epidemic influence, this exhibition successfully maintained its internationality, professionalism and authoritativeness.
Guided by Yao Yu and Wang Huan, students from the elderly academic education class and photography class submitted their works which, rich in themes and novel in forms, pay tribute to the motherland, portray people working and living in peace and contentment, and record vividly the magnificent and beautiful natural landscape of the motherland, showing humanistic feelings and photography skills. The elderly students expressed that their participation in the international professional photography exhibition on behalf of the school had greatly stimulated their learning enthusiasm and motivation. By making a solid curriculum organization and teaching arrangement, School of Arts will further implement the concept of lifelong education and integrate senior education with academic education. With participating all kinds of high level exhibitions, teaching quality will be tested and popularity will be improved in the future.
