On October 13, Wang Jianming, secretary of JSOU Party Committee, visited Nanjing Sorting Center of Dingdong Limited to investigate the university-enterprise cooperation. Yuan Shourong, party secretary of Business School, Xu Yongbing, deputy dean of Business School, Dong Xinling, deputy party secretary of Business School, some teachers and students attended the investigation as well. Ni Zhen, director of Nanjing Sorting Center of Dingdong Limited, and some executives received the visitors.
Ni Zhen expressed his welcome to JSOU visitors and gave a detailed introduction to the establishment background and development of Dingdong Limited. He also reviewed the construction of Dingdong Fresh class in JSOU and stated his gratitude for the excellent internship performance of JSOU students.
Wang Jianming focused on the history of JSOU, especially on the undergraduate majors and scale of students' enrollment. He emphasized that JSOU’s positioning had similarity with Dingdong Limited’s mission. He hoped that the two parties could further summarize the achievements of university-enterprise cooperation, consolidate the strength of both sides, and explore further cooperation in new fields such as employee training and enterprise culture construction.
After the investigation, Dingdong Limited appreciated the achievements JSOU obtained in student training and held a pennant-awarding ceremony. Xu Yongbing accepted the pennant on behalf of JSOU.
Wang Jianming was then invited to take a tour of Nanjing Sorting Center, where they paid a visit to the fresh warehouse and cold storage warehouse. During their visit, an employee introduced himself as a JSOU student. Wang inquired his courses and encouraged him to make contribution to the development of the company after completing his learning tasks.
