On October 31st, JSOU held the alumni grove planting activity on the new campus of Qiaolin. Jin Lixia, Deputy Secretary of JSOU Party Committee, and Niu Yutao, JSOU vice president, attended the event.
More than 60 people, including staff from JSOU all departments, and alumni representatives participated in the activity.
Jin Lixia extended a warm welcome to the alumni. She pointed out that Osmanthus represented nobility, beauty, auspiciousness and friendship, while Magnolia symbolized eternity and prosperity. Alumni Forest was not only engraved with the growth of alumni and struggle of youthful dreams, but also a green landscape to educate students. She hoped the alumni and the alma mater could work hand in hand to build a beautiful campus, making it the spiritual home of all alumni. JSOU would strive to promote the development of both JSOU and alumni, sharing weal and woe with alumni to pursue, build and realize dreams together.
Hu Wenbing, delivered a speech on behalf of the alumni. He expressed that in his life, apart from Hometown and Homeland, the alma mater was another place that he could never give up. He recalled his wonderful time studying in JSOU and expressed his deep yearning for his alma mater and sincere thanks and blessings to his teachers.
After an hour of hard work, the alumni representatives and teachers completed the cultivation and irrigation of the Alumni Forest. They took photos in front of the Alumni Forest.
