On November 6th, the 2021 Homecoming Alumni Forum was held in Sports and Arts Hall, Yingtian Campus.
Zhang Shu, deputy general manager of East China Investigation and Foundation Engineering Company, Pan Zhengwei, chairman of Jiangsu Bozhi Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd., Miao Chunxiang, founder of Nanjing Sage Info Tech Co., Ltd., and Hu Yuhang, marketing director of Nanjing Boka Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., were the speakers at the alumni forum. The four speakers represent the outstanding alumni entrepreneurs of JSOU in the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s and 2010s respectively, and 140 graduates attended the forum. Yu Xiaochun, deputy director of JSOU Science and Technology Division, presented the forum, and Liu Tao, director of JSOU Alumni Association chaired.
Zhang shared the story of his own growth and encouraged graduates to seize the opportunities around them, grasp the levers of life, and firmly target at their goals. Pan shared his own entrepreneurial experience, encouraging students not to be content with the status quo, be on guard against indolence and make full use of resources to realize their dreams. Miao shared his experience of co-founding the company with his classmates Cai Chengjie after graduation. He pointed out that in the field of information security technology, it was necessary to constantly innovate knowledge. Hu advised graduates on career planning. He hoped that students should carefully consider the status and prospects of different industries, make every decision prudently and keep the habit of learning after graduation.
Yu Xiaojun said in his speech that JSOU would definitely make every effort to further cooperation between enterprises and schools.
