From December 7th to 8th, JSOU recorded and broadcast 2 lectures, introducing China to teachers and students of Siglo 21 Business University (Universidad Empresarial Siglo 21, shortened as UES21) in Argentina. The lectures illustrated an ancient and modern China, from the perspective of China’s image in the context of Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and traditional Chinese culture, during the 2021 China Tour event in UES21.
The 2021 China Tour event was an important measure to implement the framework agreement of friendly strategic cooperation between JSOU and UES21. It was also the first time for JSOU to carry out international cultural communication and publicity activities. JSOU Office of International Affairs made detailed plans and communicated with UES21 in advance. Eventually, Belt and Road Initiative Creates a Better Future and Traditional Chinese Culture, were selected as the topics of two lectures.
UES21 gave positive feedback on the content and quality of the lectures and uploaded the lecture videos to online platform for further promotion. Teachers and students who attended the event said that the lectures not only enhanced their understanding of BRI and traditional Chinese culture, but also helped them know more about JSOU. They hoped that UES21 and JSOU would build further cooperation in the future.
