Recently, winners of Teaching Achievement Awards of Jiangsu in 2021 were announced and JSOU won 2 second prizes. One of these 2 prizes was won by JSOU president Cui Xinyou and his team members, the other by vice president of Nantong Open University Xie Xin’an and his team members.
Teaching Achievement Award of Jiangsu is selected every 4 years, aiming to show the outcomes achieved in the educational reform and practice of Jiangsu. JSOU has actively applied for the Teaching Achievement Award since its establishment; meanwhile, experts were invited to guide the application every time.
The project Construction and Practice of Online Course Quality Assurance System of One Center, Two Systems and Multiple Supports was directed by JSOU president Cui Xinyou and participated by JSOU relevant colleges and departments. The project was the essence of the achievements of online course construction in JSOU. The vocational education project Exploration and Practice of University-Enterprise： Six Integration and Four Coordination, Professional Cultivation Mode Based on Industry-Education Integration was the innovation of a new cultivation mode of university-enterprise cooperation in higher vocational colleges based on reality. For a long time, JSOU was guided by the concept of general quality, adhering to the learner-centered principle, optimizing the curriculum, innovating the training mode, and striving to improve the education quality.
