Following the enlistment of 9 students in the first half of 2022, the just-concluded autumn draft witnessed another 21 students from our university passing the assessment and getting enlisted.
This year is the year with the largest number of JSOU students joining the army, and it has also created two school records: the largest number in a single draft and the highest qualified rate of students in pre-service training. In this round’s pre-service training, 22 participants worked hard with determination and performed well. Finally, 21 of them formally joined the army after assessment.
Since the implementation of twice-yearly draft since 2021, our school has attached great importance to the recruitment of students. Under the leadership of the Party Committee of JSOU and the guidance of the People's Armed Forces Department of Gulou District, the Armed Forces Department of JSOU studied the new recruitment policy, tried to find a breakthrough point, and cooperated with various colleges and functional departments to carry out recruitment mobilization, as well as policy publicity and consultation. Students were organized to participate in online registration, physical examination, political examination training, pre-service training, etc. to ensure that the recruitment should train and transport quality college students to the army for our country.
