In order to enhance the international reputation and influence of our university, and further promote its opening-up in the new era, JSOU’s Office of International Cooperation and Communication organized teachers, together with those from Anhui University and other universities, to give lectures live online on China's history and food culture in the context of the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative. These sessions belong to the China-ASEAN Cross-cultural Exchange Project, and aim at spreading traditional Chinese culture to teachers and students from domestic and foreign universities and presenting a comprehensive image of JSOU.

In recent years, guided by the Belt and Road Initiative and influenced by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Office has innovated the measures and implementation connotation of international cooperation. The China-ASEAN Cross-cultural Exchange Project lasted for nearly two months and attracted more than 20 domestic and ASEAN universities. JSOU’s participation is not only an important measure to achieve the objectives and tasks of the Second Party Congress of our university, but also a further promotion to carry out foreign cultural communication and publicity events. At the sessions, JSOU’s Dr. Zhang Lu from Marxist Colleg and Dr. Long Weihua from Rural Revitalization College, while introducing our school in various ways, presented rich connotation of traditional Chinese culture to more than 100 Chinese and foreign teachers and students.
