At the request of Nanjing Museum, JSOU’s affiliated Jiangsu Lifelong Education Credit Bank Management Center (Credit Bank) organized an expert panel to certify its research course Exploring the Treasures of Nanjing Museum.
In line with the guidelines for certification of non-academic education, the Credit Bank collects materials in six dimensions for preliminary review: target orientation, assessment, learning content, quality control, support services, and teaching staff. Then, based on the material review completed by the panel, the Credit Bank organized an online report and defense on the morning of November 30th. After listening to the report from the Museum, experts objectively and fairly evaluated the course, and gave constructive suggestions for further improvement and optimization. After evaluation, the research course successfully passed the certification. The results obtained by learners through this course can be recognized as 24 credit hours or 1 credit, which can be stored in the service platform of the Credit Bank.
Nanjing Museum, together with Jiangsu Adult Education Association, has taken the lead in developing the Museum + Community cluster project in Nanjing, which includes the research course Exploring the Treasures of Nanjing Museum. By giving full play to their respective advantages, the museum culture was spread to the community in a multi-faceted, multi-level, multi-angle and multi-form manner. This certification work confirmed the qualification of the course in terms of content arrangement and learning requirements, and successfully incorporated the learning outcomes of Museum + Community into the service of the Credit Bank to better serve lifelong learning.
