On March 15th, JSOU and Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony. JSOU’s President Cui Xinyou and Hu Xuetong, Director of Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu, as well as other relevant personnel attended the ceremony, which was presided over by Vice President Geng Huantong.
President Cui briefly introduced the exploration course and basic situation of JSOU in the past decade of transformation and development, and said that Jiangsu Open University and Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu coincide in the value orientation and service concept of jointly building a marking base. He pointed out that the co-construction is beneficial for teachers of JSOU to broaden their horizons, increase their knowledge, discover their shortcomings, and learn new technologies suitable for the future. He said that the school will do its best to build the marking base, ensure the quality and make contributions to the construction of Jiangsu's three modernizations.
Director Hu Xuetong said that the Qualification Tests of Computer and Software Professional and Communications Professional are significant part of the development of China's IT industry, an important task to cultivate industrial talents. It is of great significance to ensure the quality of marking. He hoped that the two sides would make joint efforts to innovate working ideas in base construction, system construction and talent team construction, and constantly solidify the foundation for cooperation.
Geng Huantong briefly reviewed the basic situation of the school undertaking two qualification examinations at the end of 2022, and expressed his gratitude to the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu for its trust and support. Also at the meeting, the two sides signed a strategic cooperation agreement and held an unveiling ceremony. After the ceremony, a delegation of the Department visited JSOU’s Resource Construction Center, Credit Bank and Marking Room.
