On March 30th, JSOU’s Vice President Wu Guanglin and staff from the Social Education Department were invited to the “Forum on Innovation and Development of Lifelong Education from the Perspective of Chinese Modernization” sponsored by Zhejiang Open University.
At the forum, Vice President Wu made a keynote speech on the value, practice, and practical effect of digital empowerment for lifelong education in Jiangsu, as well as the experience of digital empowerment for lifelong education at Jiangsu Open University.
On the morning of March 31st, Vice President Wu and the delegation attended a seminar on regional cooperation and exchange held by Zhejiang Open University. He introduced the experiences of Jiangsu community education in recent years, shared the practices of Jiangsu Open University of introducing high-level talents and applying for national scientific research projects, and expressed his willingness to further deepen regional cooperation. In the afternoon, the delegation and Zhejiang Open University conducted in-depth discussions on community education, non-academic education and training in open universities, and mutual recognition of credit banks.
