As an important approach of the “Aid to Qinghai” program, education plays a basic, supporting and strategic role in serving the development of Qinghai. Jiangsu Open University, as part of the program, signed a Framework Agreement on Education Support and Assistance (2021-2025) with Qinghai Open University and Hainanzhou Radio and TV University in April 2021. According to the annual work plan of the agreement, to promote cooperation, from July 13 to 15, JSOU’s Vice President Geng Huantong led a team to Qinghai Open University and Hainanzhou Radio and TV University for investigation and research on the achievements of informatization assistance.
The delegation first went to Hainanzhou Radio and TV University to inspect the construction of digital learning center aided by our university, and had a discussion on IT development. Subsequently, the team went to Qinghai Open University to conduct in-depth research on the construction of smart campus and informatization, and exchanged ideas with the staff there on the current application status and development needs.
Through on-the-spot investigation and research, the connection between our university and the two sister universities in Qinghai was strengthened, and the quality and efficiency of informatization assistance was improved, which has laid an important foundation for accelerating the implementation of the agreement, improving the assistance effect and strengthening the follow-up cooperation.
