As a measure to implement the Action Plan for Improving Scientific Literacy of the Whole People in Jiangsu Province (2021-2035), enhance the capability of popular science talents, and give full play to the important role of scientific and technological workers in scientific promotion, the Jiangsu Association for Science and Technology recently announced the list of its seventh batch of Science and Technology Promotion Expert Service Groups, Chief Science and Technology Promotion Expert and Provincial Popular Science Speech Experts, Wang Lin of JSOU’s School of Rural Revitalization was selected and appointed as Chief Science and Technology Promotion Expert.
The Service Group, composed of scientific and technological workers in agricultural resources and environment, will formulate and improve work plans, focus on the frontier of agriculture and health as well as scientific and technological hotspots of public concern, create insightful popular science products, organize popular science activities, and enhance public awareness of new technologies, new products and new businesses.
