Recently, Jiangsu Provincial Department of Ecological Environment has announced a list of key laboratories of ecological protection, engineering technology centers. Low carbon development engineering technology center for ecological protection of urban and rural water governance in Jiangsu, a declaration of JSCVC in cooperation with Nanjing University Environment Planning Institute (Jiangsu) co., LTD., was approved.
Led by vice President Zhang Xiao, the technology center has pooled wisdom of green energy and low carbon development teams from both parties. Adhering to the strategy of carbon dioxide emission and carbon neutrality, the center aims to reduce pollution and carbon emissions, fostering synergistic efficiency. Based on theory and technology research of urban and rural sewage treatment, by means of technical and natural methods, the center is of great significance to low carbon treatment of urban and rural sewage.
The technology center is an important part of our high-level scientific research platform, an important path for the university to implement the action of science and technology training. Catering to the needs of ecological and environmental protection in Jiangsu province, the Technology Center will refine the research orientation, improve the scientific research team, cultivate characteristic projects, promote the integration of industry and education, science and education, and contribute to enabling the university to serve the high-quality development of Jiangsu province.
