Recently, the Education Department of Jiangsu Province released the first batch of modern industrial college construction projects in higher vocational colleges. The Manufacturing Intelligent Transformation and Digitalization Technology Industrial College applied by JSCVC was listed, becoming one of the first 50 modern industrial college construction projects in higher vocational colleges of Jiangsu Province.
Co-built by Nanjing Eston Automation Co., LTD., Nanjing Pukou Economic Development Zone, Jiangsu Nangao Intelligent Equipment Innovation Center Co., LTD., Jiangsu Yangtze River Intelligent Manufacturing Institute, the industrial college is responsive to the demand of modern industrial construction to serve Jiangsu manufacturing intelligent transformation and digitalization. Relying on the provincial key professional group, higher vocational education training base and other community platforms, the industrial college further explores the new development path-- multiple integration, coordinated development and strives to develop qualified field engineers with solid theory support, out-standing engineering practice. It aims to build a training base of talents with advanced ideas, outstanding achievements, distinctive science and technology innovations.
The setup of modern industrial college is an attempt to cater to the needs of the region, industries and to promote the steady development of colleges and universities. JSCVC attaches great importance to the preliminary application. Led by the Development Planning Office and the Academic Affairs Office, we actively mobilize and organize the application of the college with relevant construction foundation, provide precise guidance, carefully improve the construction plan and application materials of the college before finally obtaining the project approval. In the future, JSCVC will deepen the supply-side structural reform of industry, education and talent training integration, promote the effective connection of education, talent, industries and innovation, and provide strong talent and skill support for the modernization of Jiangsu.
