On May 19th, the final of the 14th Challenge Cup China College Students Business Plan Competition in Jiangsu Province came to an end in Nanjing Medical University. JSOU won the Winners' Cup for the first time in this competition, and took 3 silver awards.
317 works from 109 universities in the province including 3 from JSOU were shortlisted for the final of the provincial competition. Our 3 projects achieved excellent results. Among them, the project of "Solar Heat Storage Greenhouse – Vegetable Supply for the Plateau People" by the School of Information Engineering developed a new greenhouse based on solar heat storage technology, which is committed to ensuring the vegetable supply of Tabet. In addition, the "Hui Farming- -Green Intelligent Fertilizer" by the School of Environmental Ecology, which develops and produces intelligent green fertilizer to help rural revitalization and agricultural green development, aiming to solve the paradox between fertilizer nutrient release and crop demand, multiple topdressing and non-point source pollution. The project of "Self-Clearing" by the School of Architectural Engineering aims to effectively alleviate the blockage of municipal pipe network, reduce the probability of waterlogging, reduce the energy consumption of dredging hydropower by 100% with zero energy consumption.
The university attaches great importance to the education of innovation and entrepreneurship for college students, and takes advantage of the Challenge Cup competition as an important platform of talent training.
