Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education released a notice promoting the 2024 provincial-level Smart Assistance for the Elderly cases and course resources. JSOU’s projects, Untroubled Travel: Research and Application of the Digital Accessibility Platform for Elderly Travel and Silver Life: Smart Health Exercise for the Elderly, were selected for provincial-level recommendation as outstanding Smart Assistance for the Elderly cases and course resources.
In recent years, JSOU has actively responded to the national strategy for addressing population aging, taking on a leading role in social education. The university has organized a variety of community-based elderly education programs, including establishing Elderly Care and Education bases, launching the Smart Assistance for the Elderly: Empowering Silver Years initiative, offering specialized training on the application of smart technology for the elderly, and producing quality video courses, all contributing to the sense of fulfillment, happiness, and security for the elderly in a digital society.
