Family is the first school of life, and parents are the first teachers of children. Good family education has a vital impact on children's growth. On September 13th, under the guidance of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, JSOU, together with Changzhou Open University and the Community Training College of Economic Development District of Changzhou, held the fourth lecture of family education series in the Primary School of Economic Development District, and streamed live broadcast to parents and friends in the province via Jiangsu Learning Online platform and WeChat video account. Zhang Xuan, director of the Social Education Department of our school, Ning Benran, deputy director of the Education, Sports and Tourism Bureau of Economic Development District, Zhou Jianming, president of the Community Training College of Economic Development District, Wang Zhong, vice principal of Changzhou Open University, and Zhao Xia, principal of the Primary School of Economic Development District attended the meeting. The activity was presided over by Zhang Xuan. It is the first Smart Parents activity launched by Changzhou Open University.
Gu Xihong, party secretary of Changzhou Open University, vice director of Changzhou Family Education Research Institute Expert Committee was invited to deliver a speech on the family education we need. Based on the Family Education Promotion Law, Gu Xihong, referring to General Secretary Xi Jinping's relevant discourse on family education, explained the importance of family education for children's life growth. Through a large number of cases, humorous language and lively speech methods, Gu Xihong combined legal provisions with practical application, leading parents and friends to resonate with them and discuss education together.
