On December 26, JSOU hosted a launch event of “New Computing Era, Empowering Industries, Party Building on Industry Chain” program, which was attended by JSOU President Ding Rongyu, Deputy General Manager of China Mobile (Suzhou) Software Technology Co., Ltd. Shi Yongyi, and representatives from government, industry associations, and enterprises.
Ding emphasized JSOU’s collaboration with China Mobile (Suzhou) in studying the digital-industrial integration of the Yangtze River Delta. He highlighted the program as a means to drive innovation, integrate Party-building with industrial growth, and support regional high-quality development. Shi stressed the role of state-owned enterprises in strengthening computing power infrastructure and accelerating technological transformation, aligning with national strategic goals.
At the event, Geng Xuan from China Mobile (Suzhou) introduced the action plan of program and released a co-construction proposal, which was signed by JSOU and several partners from industry.
During the theoretical study session, Ding analyzed the Jiangsu Provincial Economic Work Conference’s key takeaways, while Shi elaborated on state-owned enterprises' role in innovation and industrial control. Participants exchanged insights on advancing Jiangsu’s digital economy and artificial intelligence sectors. In his conclusion, Ding affirmed the program’s significance in integrating resources and injecting new momentum into economic and social development.
