Recently, the results of the 2023-2024 China's Stars of Self-Improvement Scholarship selection were announced. Liu Junhao from the School of Information Technology, JSOU was honored with this prestigious title.
Liu, Class of 2024, born in January 2002, is a probationary member of the Communist Party of China and a Computer Network Technology major at Jiangsu Open University. He has demonstrated outstanding academic performance, ranking first in his major with excellent grades. Before winning the title, he has received the National Encouragement Scholarship and the university's Three-Merit Student award. Beyond coursework, Liu actively explores fields such as robotics, big data, and cloud computing, enhancing both the breadth and depth of his knowledge. His dedication has led to notable achievements, including winning first prizes in the national finals and Jiangsu provincial finals of the 2022 RoboCom, and obtaining certifications in Linux and SYB entrepreneurship training.
In addition to his academic success, Liu is deeply engaged in social practice and volunteer service. His contributions have been recognized by the Liheng Village Committee in Qingxi Town, Dongguan, Guangdong Province, which commended him for his dedication and sense of responsibility in a formal letter of appreciation.
