Recently, the list of winners for the 5th “Jiangsu Teaching Innovation Contest for University Teachers” was announced, and the teaching team of“Service and Marketing” from Business School won the First Prize.

This year marks the first time of JSOU’s qualification for the contest. Under the guidance of Vice President Geng Huantong, the Office of Academic Affairs held meetings to fully engage participating teachers. With the assistance of the Resource Construction Center, teams from different schools and colleges swiftly completed the planning and filming of the teaching video. A university-level competition was then organized for selecting outstanding works for the provincial contest.

During preparation for provincial contest, the Office of Academic Affairs and the Business School collaborated closely, providing professional guidance and meticulous service to the team. Despite limited experience, the Business School’s team systematically organized the course structure, deeply explored innovative highlights, and compiled cases of teaching practices.

This award not only reflects the teaching abilities of JSOU faculty, but also serves as a testament to the university’s continuous efforts in deepening the reform of open education and teaching. Moving forward, JSOU will continue to adhere to the philosophy of “promoting teaching and learning through competition” to further improve teacher development and strive to build high-level teaching teams.
