The Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Jiangsu Province recently announced the approval of the eighth batch of provincial-level continuing education bases for professionals, with JSOU selected. The application was led by the university’s Social Education Division, with Xu De, a faculty member from the School of Architectural Engineering, serving as one of the project leaders. This marks a historic milestone for JSOU in securing provincial-level recognition in the field of continuing education.
The provincial continuing education base initiative, established by the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Jiangsu Province, aims to enhance the professional knowledge and skills of technical personnel across the province. JSOU’s approval reflects strong official recognition of the university’s capabilities, social contributions, and growth potential in continuing education.
In recent years, JSOU has taken a leading role in advancing social education. The Social Education Division, as the university’s dedicated department in this field, has coordinated resource integration, optimized institutional mechanisms, and strengthened professional support. The university has established 12 specialized training centers catering to diverse sectors, fostering innovative approaches in education models and content.
