Art School Deepens Industry-Education Collaboration at National Forum

To strengthen industry-education integration and explore new models for training applied arts professionals, the School of Art conducted field research at the Fan Wenhua Industrial Base in Guangdong and participated in an industry strategy forum.

Site Visit and Partnership Agreement

A delegation led by Dean Huang Yilan, Vice Dean Xia Xuemin, and Department Head Li Ningfang toured the Fan Wenhua industrial park, visiting the R&D center, production facilities, staff living areas, and retail stores to gain insights into the company’s operations, technology, and corporate culture. Following the visit, a partnership agreement was signed to establish an off-campus internship and practice base, providing students with internship and project opportunities while facilitating future collaboration in curriculum development and technical exchange.

Participation in Industry-Academia Forum

The delegation was invited to attend the 2026 Strategic Institution Industry-Academia Collaboration Summit at the Fan Wenhua park. The summit brought together representatives from universities across China, including several institutions ranked among the top ten nationwide in cosmetics management programs. Discussions focused on innovative collaboration models, modern apprenticeship programs, industry-aligned curriculum development, and student internship management. Dean Huang Yilan shared insights on the School of Art’s program features and recent partnership achievements, noting that cross-disciplinary exchange at the forum offered valuable perspectives for expanding industry-education collaboration and refining talent development models to better meet industry needs.
