On the morning of January 19, the Jiangsu Lifelong Education Credit Bank Management Center and Nanjing University’s School of Lifelong Education held a joint Party branch learning and exchange event at the Credit Bank conference room on Jiangsu Open University's Dinghuaimen Campus. The event was hosted by Dong Xinling, Director of the Jiangsu Lifelong Education Credit Bank Management Center. Attendees included Chu Huiyun and Min Hongping, Vice Deans of School of Lifelong Education of Nanjing University, along with their relevant staff, and all personnel from the Credit Bank Management Center.
The event began with a joint Party branch learning session, where both sides watched and discussed the General Secretary's 2026 New Year message.
Dong Xinling then systematically reviewed the achievements of the Jiangsu Lifelong Education Credit Bank, highlighting innovations in policy framework, theoretical research, standard development, and platform operations. Chu Huiyun introduced Nanjing University's degree education programs, sharing existing efforts and needs in recognizing, accumulating, and converting learning outcomes in adult and online education.
During discussions, both sides reached preliminary consensus on converting learning outcomes for former students of Nanjing University's modern distance education programs. They will develop a cooperation framework and a specific conversion plan to enable inter-institutional recognition of learning outcomes, helping students continue their education while saving time and costs. They also exchanged views on skill certificate conversion, youth holistic education certification, and elderly education application scenarios.
Both sides agreed to deepen future cooperation in expert resource sharing, Credit Bank promotion, and developing mutual recognition standards for learning outcomes in the Yangtze River Delta region, contributing to Jiangsu's lifelong education system and digital transformation in education.
