On March 20, JSOU Vice President Liu Guiyou led a delegation to Suzhou Industrial Park Open University for a training project strategic cooperation signing ceremony and research exchange.

Vice President Liu Guiyou emphasized the university's role in serving lifelong learning through its four types of education, calling for integrated development of degree + skills + competencies and a hybrid training model combining online-offline and theory-practice approaches. He urged both sides to collaborate with local governments, industries, and social organizations to strengthen JSOU's training brand.

Quan Junliang, President of Suzhou Industrial Park Open University, expressed gratitude for the support from the provincial university and highlighted the strategic cooperation as an opportunity to deepen university-local integration. He committed to leveraging the campus's regional advantages to serve as a pilot base for implementing training initiatives.

Zhang Zhaozhao, Deputy Director of the Training Center, outlined a framework for provincial-local collaboration focused on resource sharing, joint project development, brand building, and mechanism co-construction. She proposed integrating provincial-level course offerings, faculty expertise, and technology with the campus's regional strengths and local networks to develop a demand-driven training system.

Zhang Zhaozhao and Gu Anping signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both institutions.

After the ceremony, the delegation visited the Loufeng Yangcheng Lake Agricultural Education Base, touring its facilities and exchanging views on integrating community education, labor education, nature education, and family education.

The agreement marks a new phase in provincial-local cooperation on training initiatives. The provincial university will provide support in curriculum resources, faculty, technology platforms, and branding, while both sides will work together to advance the integrated development of the four types of education.
