On May 29, the first JSOU Career Planning Festival and Career Planning Competition was launched at the Dinghuaimen Campus. The event was held both online and offline. Hang Zhuhong, Party Standing Committee Member and Vice President of JSOU, attended and delivered a speech. Attendees included officials from the Student Affairs Office, the schools, and relevant persons in charge from various teaching points of Jiangsu City Vocational College, along with competition advisors and student representatives. The event was hosted by Zhang Zhihui, Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Office.

Hang Zhuhong recognized the university's solid achievements in career planning education and employment guidance over the past year, expressing gratitude to all teaching units. He put forward three requirements for the festival: First, all teaching units should organize carefully, using the competition to deepen industry-education integration and improve talent cultivation quality. Second, advisors should provide targeted guidance based on industry trends and students' majors. Third, the university should summarize successful experiences and typical cases, building the festival into a distinctive, long-term educational brand.

Liu Huiying, Director of the Student Affairs Office, reviewed the university's 2025 achievements in career planning education and employment services, and detailed the festival's arrangements.

An award ceremony was held. Hang Zhuhong presented certificates to students and advisors who won awards at the Third National College Student Career Planning Competition (Jiangsu Finals).

Student representative Chang Xinran (School of Architectural Engineering) and advisor representative Yao Yue (School of Architectural Engineering) shared their experiences.

A national competition gold medal advisor from another institution provided practical guidance on competition strategies. A career planning expert analyzed the capability model and growth path of outstanding competitors.

The inaugural Career Planning Festival features three major competitions, four special activities, and five types of training, integrating career planning education throughout the talent cultivation process to help students chart their futures through planning and action.
