The results of the 6th Jiangsu Advanced Graphics and Product Information Modeling Competition (also the Jiangsu qualifier for the 19th National competition) were recently announced. Students from the School of Architectural Engineering stood out among 2,079 participants from 72 universities across the province, winning a third prize in the Architecture category.
The competition, hosted by the Jiangsu competition organizing committee and co-organized by Nanjing Tech University, covers categories including Architecture, Mechanical, Road and Bridge, and Water Resources, without distinguishing between undergraduate and vocational institutions. Participants included students from top universities such as Southeast University, Hohai University, and Yangzhou University.
In the Architecture category, where only four vocational college students managed to win awards, Wang Naiming from the School of Architectural Engineering was one of them. The achievement reflects both the student's dedication and the school's commitment to the philosophy of promoting learning, teaching, and training through competition.
During preparation, the school provided targeted training on building information modeling, strengthening students' graphics skills and practical abilities.
The School of Architectural Engineering has been deepening industry-education integration by incorporating academic competitions into talent cultivation, establishing an integrated system of course teaching + practical training + competition incubation. Moving forward, the school will continue to use competitions as a driver to enhance student capabilities and pursue higher-level achievements.
