To help 2026 freshmen and parents learn about the Qiaolin Campus firsthand, JSOU held a campus open day on September 2. Nearly 100 freshmen and parents visited the campus, experiencing its culture and educational environment up close. Niu Yutao, Deputy Party Secretary of JSOU, along with secretaries and deputy secretaries of school Party branches, and freshman counselors, attended. The event was hosted by Liu Huiying, Director of the Student Affairs Office.
In his address, Niu Yutao welcomed the Class of 2026 and thanked parents for their trust and support. He encouraged students to stay curious, engage actively in campus life, and uphold positive academic conduct. He stressed the importance of home-school collaboration in students' development.
Hu Dahua, Member of the Standing Committee of the JSOU Party Committee, Director of the Organization Department, and Director of the Qiaolin Campus Comprehensive Office, presented an overview of the campus, covering its layout, facilities, and support services.
Guided by Student Affairs staff and counselors, freshmen and parents toured the one-stop student community, library, teaching and research areas, dormitories, training facilities, and sports venues, gaining first-hand insight into the campus learning environment.
The visit was well received. Students expressed anticipation for campus life, while parents voiced confidence in the university's educational environment and management.
After the tour, the university organized lunch for attendees at the campus cafeteria.
The open day served as a bridge for home-university communication, showcased the Qiaolin Campus, and helped ease freshmen's concerns. Moving forward, JSOU will continue preparing for the new academic year with quality services and facilities.
